When emotions are high anything can happen.

I mostly look at things happening around me and shake my head. While other times I laugh.

Recently, I was out playing the beautiful game of football with a friend.

Now, before that day we had an argument with him about hugging other guys. He said nothing will make him do such a thing.

He made emphasis on NOTHING will make him do that.

Well, back to my time on the football pitch.

We were on the same team. A teammate of ours scored in the closing stage of the game to make the score 2–1 in our favor.

Full of happiness at that moment we all rushed to hug and celebrate with him. Even our ”no hug friend” was involved.

After the game, I pointed out that to him. He said he can’t remember doing that.

I pressured him. Then, he admitted by saying ” I was just happy, I didn’t know when I ran to him”.

This further made me believe the saying ”People buy based on emotions and justify with logic”.

Lesson: Give them a reason to get emotional when selling your product/service. It can be you banking on their love for longer life. Sexual companionship, survival, and many more.

People will forever get emotional over things that make their life better or makes them feel superior to others.

They will later justify their decision to buy with logic just to convince their selves they made the decision willingly.
